BG 10: Summary of the divine opulence of Lord Krishna

Written by divinemind

Krishna is the beginning (creation), the middle (process), and the end (conclusion) of everything (BG 10.20, BG 10.32). He is the Supersoul within everyone’s heart. (BG 10.20) Krishna is either the essence or the chief member of various objects or groups of living entities and states. In order to give us a mere indication of His expansive opulence, Krishna lists down 19 categories of objects, 33 groups of living entities, and 26 essential states, qualities or activities (totaling 78). Each and every object that possesses power, beauty, or true excellence is simply exhibiting an insignificant spark of Krishna’s splendor. (BG 10.41)
